Federal Flood Relief Available for Lycoming Residents and Businesses
I joined state Sen. Gene Yaw, (R-Loyalsock Township) and other local, municipal and state officials last week to take a tour of flood-risk areas along Wallis Run Road and Route 87.

Sen. Yaw and I will be working toward solutions to make it easier and less expensive for private landowners to clean out streams on their property. In the meantime, due to recent flooding, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that Lycoming County homeowners, renters and businesses impacted by storms may be eligible for low-interest disaster loans through the SBA Disaster Loan Program.

Low-interest loans of up to $200,000 are available to homeowners and businesses to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. I encourage anyone who thinks they may be eligible to visit the SBA website here.
