Everett to Conduct Telephone Town Hall Meeting
HARRISBURG – Rep. Garth Everett (R-Lycoming/Union) announced today he will host a telephone town hall meeting Wednesday, April 5, beginning at 5:45 p.m. The leading legislative issues in Harrisburg will be the focus of the session.
“I would like to invite constituents in the 84th Legislative District to participate in my telephone town hall meeting, where calls are received at home and everyone can participate without having to leave the house,” said Everett. “The convenience of this program allows a large number of people to be able to participate at the same time.”
Everett said the program will consist of a legislative update touching on major issues in the Capitol and a question-and-answer session. He will speak on the proposed state budget, natural gas royalty legislation and other issues.
To participate in the call if no initial call is received by about 5:40 p.m., simply dial 1-877-229-8493, and when prompted, use the code 13279.
