Work Created by Muncy Artists on Display in Everett’s Harrisburg Office
David and Gretchen Moyer of Muncy are shown here with two of their art creations that are currently on display at the State Capitol office of Rep. Garth Everett in Harrisburg.
HARRISBURG -- Following a successful artwork display at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, Muncy artists David M. and Gretchen H. Moyer now have some of their work on display at the State Capitol office of Rep. Garth Everett (R-Lycoming) in Harrisburg.
“The Moyers are very well known in our region and I am honored to have some of their work in my Harrisburg office and am already hearing wonderful compliments from visitors,” said Everett. “They participated in the Art of the State: Pennsylvania 2012 exhibit at the museum, and I am glad they chose to share their work with us in the Capitol. I hope many residents can stop by and see this outstanding work while visiting with us in Harrisburg.”
The Moyers are both members of the Pennsylvania College of Technology art design faculty and have had their works of art displayed in many national and international events. Their artwork is inspired in-part by philosophy, music, poetry and literature.
The work will be on display in Everett’s office through at least the month of October.
